Still frustrated about Saturday. And still aching.
Any news on what happened to Shears? Is he alright?
Looks like we could get some rain for BSXI tonight.

Frustrating indeed and we need to sort ourselves out. Luckily we have a new management team in place for tonights game. Some good to come out of Saturday Kirby, you are the current top goalscorer this season @@ "Ashton will never get in your boat Kirbs. He’s too much of a chirpser." Nathan Redshaw, 16/07/2009.

I've stopped aching so should be fine for tonight. Not sure about Shears, Nath said that when he spoke to him on friday the line was bad and Shearsy may have said he couldn't make it and Nath may have said ok. We'll check with him tonight. If he doesn't have an excuse then it's a fine. BCFA cup runners-up 2009/10

Shearsy's fine for being 15 mins late from Saturday is still ticking over. He currently owes over £100 ;; :: @@ *headshake* "Ashton will never get in your boat Kirbs. He’s too much of a chirpser." Nathan Redshaw, 16/07/2009.

Dunno what's happened to Shears - awol again.
Sorry for being a bit slack last night boys - I was just knackered. Couldn't turn quickly nor keep pace sometimes. Bit frustrated about it all really. I hate midweek games - not enough time to recover from the previous weekend.
Still, we had some moments of great football. Credit to all of us for working hard and generally keeping up a good spirit - after all, we're meant to be representing Christ first and playing football second. Having said that, I think we've come a long way since we reformed however many years back. I'm proud to be in our team.

I guess you are just going to have to get fitter and play a full 90 mins. That way the defence will not be severely weakened when you go off and we may keep a clean sheet. Nath took me off - I could have lasted 90 no probs. Don't I get more points for a clean sheet?

Just seen the report from the SAS game on full-time...do you reckon SAS would have given Spring man of the match if they knew what job he was actually meant to do on the pitch? Steve Birtle should again be disappointed he didnt get it! www.webteams.co.uk/counterslip...our biggest fear is not that we are inadequate, our biggest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

Birtle did have a good game at the back, however, all your attacking flair came through Spring or Millar (who would've been my second choice), even if Spring's shooting was a bit off. Unfortanately the other managers don't know what job the gaffer has asked of their players!

Good shout from both naths. NJ, that was basically me letting out the frustration that we seem to continuously have in centre midfield, im sure birtle would concur (as he sees exactly what happens) that you should get spring away from centre midfeild and let him do the business up front, slip are far stronger as a team with millar in centre mid, he listens for a start. www.webteams.co.uk/counterslip...our biggest fear is not that we are inadequate, our biggest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
