If Mr Frosty is forecast to get worse over the next few days then I reckon all matches will be frozen over, which as always is a real shame and means more matches to play in April! My apologies to be so bleak. http://pipnjayfc.ukffteams.co.uk/ Pip n jay GFA Minor cup winners 2010-11

The predicted Bath forecast for tonight and Friday night is -4 to -5. not looking good for my trip to Welton on Saturday. The frost has got deep into the ground, at least on my lawn, so it will take a while to come out. Ever hopeful but it does not look good.

Yep, I'm not too hopeful either. Reckon it'll be a complete wipeout this weekend. Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

I stopped by at Packers at 4.30 last night on way home from work. A school match was going on on the other pitch and ours was just about taking a stud. Sub zero last night and the same tonight and Fri is a worry though. Have just got back from my lunchtime stroll. Went to have a look at the pitches behind the office which have been in the sun all morning, I very much doubt that you could have played on them. A very slight bit of give when I pressed my thumb on the ground, then very very hard. Certainly would not have taken a stud, and though the pitch has not rutted up badly where there are Ruts they were frozen solid. 2 more nights of heavy frost to come, it is looking very dodgy for 10.00AM Saturday. The pitches are not out in the countryside either where the frosts may have been even worse.

Welton vs Santos has about 10% chance of being on according to my weather predictor for Westhill Gardens. -5 Tonight in Midsomer Norton and -4 Tomorrow Night. The only time you run out of chances is when you stop taking them.

So is it fair to assume that no games went ahead on Saturday?? Forecast is nice and dry this week but turning cold again so lets hope it's not another freeze out this Saturday.

From a report I read only two games in the region survived the weather, Keynsham Town and Bristol City! The only time you run out of chances is when you stop taking them.

Keynsham Town Reserves played in the Somerset County League and in case anyone wonders how, they now play on a 3G pitch, and very nice it is. I did a line there 10 days ago. Weather also wiped out most of the Hockey the area. so 2 unhappy Sons. Janet and myself not overly sorry that youngests game was off, as he will be playing 5 games in 3 days this week and is recovering from an eye injury that he got 2 weeks ago.

I'm hoping for more freezing weather. The boss has forced me to help at dads and toddlers on sat so am missing the cup semi, not happy. Congratulations to Woodies.
