Top quality line up this year. Who gets your vote?
Mark Cavendish Darren Clarke Alastair Cook Luke Donald Mo Farah Dai Green Amir Khan Rory McIlroy Andy Murray Andrew Strauss
Tough call for me between Cavendish and Farah. Both have produced outstanding performances this year regularly. Cav won the Green Jersey, several tour stages and a world title. Farah set British and European records and won world gold over 5k and was just pipped to the 10k gold. I'm siding with Cavendish at the moment.

Cavendish should probably win it but won't as he rides a bike. For me Rory McIlroy will win it and it will be deserved. Darren Clarke is an outside bet and could well split the golf vote which might mean Rory doesn't win it.

I pretty much agree with your thoughts Ben. My vote would probably go to Farah, although that might be partly because I like athletics, but I'm not too bothered about cycling (other than when I get a puncture on my bike). I don't think Clark, Donald, Khan, Murray or Strauss have done enough to win it. Green did well, but is clearly out-done by Farah. I think Cook had a good season and set some sort of record (Eakes?), but I can't see him winning it. So it pretty much boils down to Cavendish, Farah and McIlroy. Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

To give you an idea of what the people in the know think: Cavendish is evens favourite, Clarke 5/2 second favourite. Mo Farah is 9/1 third favourite and Rory Mclroy is 10/1 fourth favourite. Name your price on the other 6. Can't see past these 4. The only time you run out of chances is when you stop taking them.

Clarke better not win it. He's been a disaster the rest of the year. Congratulations to Woodies.
