Hi guys just a quick one. Rememberance sunday (13th Nov) are any of the local churches i say local as in Hillfields side of bristol doing anything? I havent been since I left the forces and thought perhaps it could be a good time to maybe pay some respects. And not only churches I also wanted to know of any events that might be going on I here Staple hill holds one most years does anyone no anything about this one???

You're in luck... The Staple Hill Remembrance Parade will take place as usual at about 10:45 at Page Park, marching off from the British Legion at 10:30.

Also, for you and anyone else who might be interested, Staple Hill Salvation Army, on Broad Street, will be hosting a FREE Festival of Remembrance 'At the going down of the Sun...' at 5pm on the Sunday evening which will provide another opportunity to remember those who have, and of course, those who are still serving our country.

It would be great to see you there.

Thank you very much i heard they would be marching through staple hill to page but could find no details online apart from the road closure notice.Think
