I saw that, I can't help but thinking he is taking it too literally though, or maybe just over time we have watered down our faith. I personally have no issue about playing sport, working on a Sunday etc but recognise there is definitely something to be said for having a day a week where life stops. If nothing else it is just good for you to stop and rest.

Well it talks about having a day of rest on the Sabbath but then that was for the Jews on a Saturday. I am with you Dan.

The Jew's day of rest was the Sabbath, which was a Saturday, but in our culture, Sunday is effectively our Sabbath. Personally, I respect him for the stand he's taken. I don't think I'd do it myself, but that probably says more about my faith than anything else. At the end of the day, it's easy to say that your "day of rest" doesn't have to be a Sunday (which is true in my eyes) almost as an excuse for you to do something on a Sunday, but how many of us would then take another day during the week to focus on God.
