If my memory is correct, I think Dan reffed Club C last season in the the round following their game against Thornbury.

You are correct Mr Christopher. They won 1-0, game wasn't great if I remember rightly. We can beat them. I sent someone off but that was for the other team. They weren't too bad.
Congratulations to Woodies.

Indeed I am pleased. So Ian do I assume they play at Packers?

Gelnside OB's are in the same division as Rhubarb that Slip beat, albeit Rhubarb are bottom of that league and Glenside are 2nd. I think we played AFC Keynsham last year in the league and they are in the lower part of that league and they were poor. Great to have all 4 sides kept separate which would be great if we could get all 4 sides in the quarters and then maybe ultimately 2 sides in the final. Having said that, there is something nice about playing a non church team in the final. But thats a long way ahead....

Indeed! Enjoy, and I can well recommend our "clubhouse" afterwards, aka The Kings Head, right outside the entrance to the ground.

We're playing Wick A team (thirds) they are about 8th in the same league of old boys in which they are 4th so we can believe we can come through it. I think all teams avoiding real Thornbury was important too. SAS' opponents are up there as well think 3rd in that league.

Good chance that we could at least see half of us through in Minor if not everyone.
Has seen 4 lads through his team become Christians in the last 18 months or so - How awesome is that?

Rich, we played Wick last year in the quarters I think. They weren't a bad side but we won something like 5-1 and played well that day. Very beatable.

Shame you got Santos but an air of inevitability ! Happy with our draw versus Corithians, will be speaking to Nath about them.

Eakes, you should be happy with that, and I'd think you'll comfortably beat them, as we should have done.
Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

Woodies will walk that. Just be careful of the pitch, you'll have to keep your long ball game. They had no one that stood out.
Congratulations to Woodies.

Interesting thing is I emailed the GFA on Monday to ask when we would get the draw because if we were home then I had about a week to sort the pitch before the City Academy closes for Christmas. I had a reply back saying they could "confirm Castle Green had an away draw". Now we are home to Santos? Very odd!

I'd agree with this. The pitch will be a bit of a leveller, not quite the carpet you're used to. They're quite physical, but not ridiculously so. Not much else I can say about them really.

That is odd as we have always understood that the draw is pre-done ala Wimbledon. Which is why last season we must have been the very last team at the bottom of the draw as we had away games all the way to the semi final.

We must have been at the top, because we had all home ties!
