'Slip v Pistols off - an actual joke. Bit of mud, no water. Filwood got a random ref to decide instead of using our ref which is the way it's meant to be done. Called it off for player safety aswell! What, we might drown in the mud?
Congratulations to Woodies.

Sorry, but that has made me chuckle after yesterday.

Half our pitch was fine, but in all fairness, we'd have destroyed the other half if we'd played.

Ian, even you have to admit that's quite funny! LOL

Christchurch 1 - 2 SAS (Goals from Josh Minigawa and Steve Dayman)

Probably just about deserved the victory although the quick surface opened us up a little more than I would've liked. Really pleased with the effort from my boys on the whole tho on a surface which could end up being more and more prominent. A missed penalty from Christchurch in the last couple of minutes of the game made me think that it was probably our day but I wasn't dissappointed to see him hit it wide I have to say!

If we could've won last week then it could've been still all to play for but a good victory in the fight for third nevertheless!

Comprehensively outplayed as the score suggests, they were three goals up within about half an hour. One up after two mins, when our keeper should have been sent off but the ref gave the goal instead... Third goal scored direct from a corner. We pulled it back a little and held on much better for the rest of the game, but didn't really give any threat on goal. Once again the game was played in a fantastic spirit by both teams, which made the game enjoyable despite the result!

another very heavy pitch today glad it went ahead though,

A tough game today and we just nicked it with 3 minutes to go, a draw probably would of been a fair result today but thats 3 wins on the spin and helps confidence going into next saturdays massive game

Lost 5-1 to Widcombe W, this was a big game and we didn't turn up, Widcombe were better all over the pitch and we were just not up for it enough in a game we we had to win to have a good chance of staying up, now we are in bottom two not looking good Sad

We were outplayed yet we took the lead, we had a good spell for 10 mins after that and it looked like we could go on a win but a very late goal in first half deflated us and then the second half we just collapsed.

Really gutted but can't complain we deserved it.

Has seen 4 lads through his team become Christians in the last 18 months or so - How awesome is that?

Well you have to remain optimistic about these things. As I say to the lads, it's on till I tell them it's off so don't bother asking!

Can I ask why Christchurch v SAS took precedent over our qf?

And boo to sas for winning.
Congratulations to Woodies.

We were gutted to concede so late on in the game. A draw would have been the fair result, we will move on though and hopefully get a win next week!
