So, are we going to play? Pitches must be pretty sodden now, but the weather forecast says dry for today and most of tomorrow. Looks like we might see some rain on Friday night again though, so that might scupper us... Sad Temperatures are quite decent today and tomorrow though, so with a bit of luck, the pitches will dry up quite a bit before any rain comes along.
Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

I would be very surprised if we get called off

Dan's had an email from Chris Matthews saying he's driven past BAWA this morning and would be surprised if games are ON. Think that's a bit pessimistic at this stage though.

If all divison 3 games get played here are my predictions

Carmel-v-Powerhouse
The last 2 gamed have given powerhouse 16 goals so I'm going with an away win.

Hayhill-v-Hartcliffe
Two good teams that is hard to call so I'm going for a score draw

Oasis Cairns-v-Grace Church
Another tough one to call but I think Oasis could sneak it, home win.

Let's hope all games get played.

Now says heavy rain overnight so hopefully that won't transpire. Last year it took us 3 weeks to play our GFA game with Pip n Jay which was the killer for our fixture rearrangements last season. Lets hope we cna get it on, more for the sake of Pip n Jay as a few of their players are doing a 'sleep out" raising money for charity next Friday night !

Dammit! The amount of rain forecast has definitely increased. Our game has been switched to Filwood, and I think there's a reasonable chance we might get rained off now. Sad

I'm not worried about a bit of moisture over night, if anything it will make the surface nice and slick BigGrin

Ha ha. I'm just flying the flag for division three. There's enough of you to worry about the other two divisions!

Flipping rain, screwing everyone over. I'm going to predict that the Slip-Pistols match will be off now. Hope I'm wrong, but don't think I will be.

Christchurch vs SAS is ON!

We've decided to take the plunge and play on 3G AstroTurf at Clifton College. Should be interesting as I've never experienced a competitive game on a full size pitch with this surface but looking forward to the game anyway!

Hope you're feeling fit!!

VCF's game is off due to GFA matches - Dan, not sure who was going to ref it as it's been switched on Fulltime already - so Phil doesn't know if someone is going to turn up to ref in the morning -can you help?

Let us know how the 3g pitch is to play on...as BUCU have such a short space of time to play our matches we were trying to get some games played on the 3g stuff, nice to know other teams see it as a viable option to play on!

Have to say I was a little apprehensive but can't see it being any worse than a pitch in the height of summer. I guess only time will tell - I'll let you know tomorrow! Wink
