Not hear dmany rumours of January transfers so like Fergie everyone is obviously happy with their lot. January will be a mixture of cup games, league games and no doubt the odd cancellation. Looking at the fixtures in Div 1 there aren't any fixtures where you say they could be "title deciders" but by the end of January will we be seeing a 2 horse race between Christchurch and BS XI or will us, Slip and SAS still be in the mix?

At the bottom you'd have to say that Santos are doomed. Even if they pick their results up they still have a lot of top teams to play and last year 18 points wasn't enough to stay up so they would need to win 6-7 games from their last 10 which I just can't see happening. So who else will join them? Widcombe are currently in pole position but still have some quality players but are clearly missing Keith. Can Andy man-manage CBT and his troops to get out of this? Nailsea would be the next team threatened and I think it will come from one of those two teams. Having said that, if any of the teams on 11 points and under have a nightware run who knows who could get dragged into the mire.

Anyway, good luck to Pips on Saturday in the GFA and also good luck to my boys, lets get 2 teams to the semis and who knows if we avoid each other an all BCFA cup final??

We gave a debut to to someone against Hillfields on Saturday who I'd like to sign up, provided I can find room for him in our squad!! Other than that, won't be adding any new players.

I don't really see us as being in the title mix, and anyone who saw us on Monday would agree. We are way too inconsistent to win the league. I'm hoping we can finish top half of the table, but as you say Eakes, a bad run could see us more than just flirting with relegation. We had some decent results towards teh end of October and when we actually got to play in November and December, so we need to get that form back asap.
Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

Dan I'm disappointed you have downgraded yourselves from title contenders Flapper
