I am not totally clued up on the weather but up until Friday night it looks OK and then it will be cold overnight with a chance of snow in the morning? If that is the case I assume it is off, but on the basis that the weather will hold off there are a couple of games this Sat: Shield 1st RoundHillfields v Widcombe - Being back to back holders means we want to make that a treble, however Widcombe are a bogey team for us and so I expect a tough game as always. Div 2Rock 0 v Castle Green 5 - Almost forgot about this league, cannot see anything but a frozen pitch or a comfortable Castle Green victory Div 3Oasis 2 v Powerhouse 3 - I thought Powerhouse were playing Carmel in shield but either way I think a Powerhouse win. Has seen 4 lads through his team become Christians in the last 18 months or so - How awesome is that?

Frozen pitches all round. If the groundsmen don't call them off, the refs will.

Checked pitch - it is playable now, but if it doesn't warm up today then the same temps over night plus more snow will likely call games off. I will check pitch tonight to see if its frozen if it is then obviously games will be off. Has seen 4 lads through his team become Christians in the last 18 months or so - How awesome is that?

What time you going up there? I could meet you at 6.30? If we did fines for managers not contacting refs on time like they do in other leagues, the BCFA would be loaded... Congratulations to Woodies.

Why Why Why did you mention another way to fine people, Ben will be all over this now.  I am down the church from 4pm tonight so will check it then and then at 10pm when I leave (did you mean tonight) or 6:30 am? If tonight, you can come anytime that suits u and let me know and i'll meet u down there.
