No surprise to see a thread about Kirby in the non-football section......

Anyway, over the weekend, Slip's finest ginger full back had a little boy, bucking the trend of BCFA girls. Leonard Bert Hayward Kirby is the name, weighing in at 8lb 4oz. All doing well.

Indeed congrats to John and Chloe. Is there any confirmation yet that the poor fella has inherited the ginger gene??

As my mate says, it takes a man to produce a child, it takes a real man to produce a boy !!! Well done Kirbs!

Normal service has been resumed. Andy Baynton's wife gave birth to a little girl this morning meaning that a) he will be free to play this saturday in our GFA semi final and b) that he could have travelled to Radstock on saturday after all Wink.

Congratulations Kirby and Andy B, two new additions to the ever growing circle of babies to be born over the last few years. Interesting to see how many of the players wives/partners/girlfriends have had boys! There's got to be a statto out there to create a tally!

Hopefully the weather will stay dry for the big GFA semi on saturday.
