Pleased with our draw, not because I think we'll win, but it's just nice to play a team we've never played before.
Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

And pleased that Woodies are playing SAS. We've got a good chance of silverware again that we need to take. Hopefully the game will be off cos I can't play!
Congratulations to Woodies.

With only 4 1st division sides in the Shield and 1 definitely set to be eliminated in the first round, there's a good chance of there being final representation from Div 2 or 3 this year which would be great again. Perhaps keeping up the current form of non Div 1 teams winning it for the past 2 years (wlthough Rich might have something to say about that). Woodies are keen to get their hands on the only BCFA trophy yet to be in our cabinet.

And that is why we won't win it, because half the team are already measuring up for their final suits despite us having 3 games to go before we get to that stage. Shades of Hillfields a couple of years ago......

I refuse to all go in the bus or wear suits for any match from now on.

That was quite laughable last year I have to say. I reckon we were 1-0 up before we stepped onto the pitch due to that spectacle !!

There was concern when we turned up that the bus wouldn't actually fit under the car park barrier.

It's just one of many things I have to suffer playing in a team of kids.

But let's be honest, most of your team were a little turned on by us lot in our suits.

So Rock in the shield for grace church. Will be good to catch up. We had a friendly with them at there place and they hammered us.Hopefully it will be a bit closer this time. Good result for us today 2-2 Away At hartcliffe Saints. Division 3 is looking like a real good league to play in and could be almost any ones title come March.

I think Mrs Stone might have it in for the Santos team bus, as there's already been one long trip to face Welton in the cup.

Actually, I haven't played them for a few seaons, are Welton still on the pitch with only a slight gradient? BigGrin

Pleased with that draw for one reason - we've avoided Woodies!
Congratulations to Woodies.

I guess you'd say that whoever wins the remaining round 1 ties, the away teams will be favourites in each fixture. I reckon there will be one upset along the way though. No disrespect to the remaining teams, but I think the eventual winner will come from Castle Green, Woodies, ourselves (as long as we avoid Woodies) and Shield specialists Hillfields.
