Just thought I'd bump this one back up. Have just finished a course of physio with Richard & he has been absolutely brilliant, getting me back playing sooner than I though. As someone who has seen a fair few physios over the years, Rich is highly recommended

I'd highly recommend him. Sorted me out just over a year ago, I know Ashton and Si Thompson from Woodies have been to see him too. One thing to point out however, I think his fee is now £30 a session (still discounted from his normal rate). Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

Basically Ian to try and cut a long story short was on the receiving end of a very bad challenge on the side of my leg / ankle on a Saturday afternoon in early march, could barely walk for 4 days later, doctors got me to go to physio didn’t everything they asked stretches etc resting it ice etc. the women said you would be fine for pre season just start slowly did all that, then end of June played 5 a side took a full on kick in the leg (never playing 5 a side again) in the same area where I received the contact in march. Could barely walk again for a couple of days. Rested it eased it back in again until Saturday just gone where I landed on it during the warm up. Couldn’t come on at all, to sum it up two idiotic challenges have caused problems To be honest I feel like I am not going to play again for a very long time if ever I don’t think ill be ready for the start of the season no way unless a miracle happens. A shame really as personally I felt I was playing really well and was the fittest I had been for a long time. Never mind hopefully this will do the trick or Ian are you talking about me being near the red side? Job completed Division 3 BCFA Champions

or Ian are you talking about me being near the red side? Well look, get it checked with a decent physio, either this guy or I sometimes use Keith James in Redland, Rovers' ex physio. When you can exercise and you are told what you can do, strengthening and rehab, if you are now in Bristol, come to a few of our sessions and I'll give you some drills if that helps. Big recommendation for Rich, I have had a few set backs with my leg but I'm now to more or less full fitness and kicking better than ever thanks to Rich
