Not really. We decided to rip the entire bathroom out backs to the rafters and brickwork. All-in-all, we'll end up spending about £6k doing it up including oven, fridge-freezer and washing machine. That'll total it all to £162k inc all costs. At that price, it's still a great place and much better than anything else on the market around that price.
