Also, just being fit doesn't constitute it being a sport. You have to be fit to be a soldier but that isn't a sport!!!

I said 'how can you call it dull'. Do you class running a race as a sport? So driving in a race is different? Cos you're sat on your bum? The punishment their bodies go through though is greater than running the 100m! Top of the league

First practice. Hispania only have Senna's car going. lol. They've got no chance. Button and Lewis already challenging each other's times. Sutil looks good, but it's only first practice. Lotus have a problem with pipes burning drivers. D'oh!

If you can't be bothered to check this every week will it base what you have selected now for every race or will you not score points. As i'm not going to be checking this more than 1ce or 2ce all season. The only time you run out of chances is when you stop taking them.

So the season starts with a win for Alonso and a Ferrari 1-2. He was catching Vettel before his exhaust went but it certainly was a massive factor in him winning. Really pleased Lewis managed to sneak onto the podium. Top of the league

Dan, surely support for Hamilton is worse than being against Pieterson, Kieswetter etc. At least those people come and live in our country and contribute to the country in terms of tax etc whereas Hamilton does not. I can't support a tax dodger.

You play students in your team don't you? ;-) Lewis is English, born and bred, so completely different to Kiewetter or Pietersen. Button doesn't live here. Nor does Beckham. Ridiculous argument. Top of the league

Its not a ridiculous argument, Beckham doesn't ply his trade here. Hamilton has deliberately gone and domciled overseas (Switzerland I believe) to avoid paying UK tax. Whilst I appreciate Hamilton dots around the world a lot he has deliberately become ex-domiciled from the UK for tax reasons. That to me is poor, he should be paying his way like the rest of us. I don't know about Button's situation but if he has done the same then that is very poor also.
To compare it to me having students in my team is nonsense. Stats show that students become higher tax payers than those that don't go to Uni so they pay their way eventually.
So in conclusion your honour, it is not a ridiculous argument.

I'm all for tax dodging if you can get away with it then why not? Our taxes get wasted time and time again. The only time you run out of chances is when you stop taking them.

You make even less sense than Dan ! Wow, there's a first for everything . I shalln't go into the rights and wrongs of paying your taxes but as a full member of society we should be paying taxes.

If I was an F1 driver, I'd probably move to another country. No way would I pay literally millions a year to a Government who can not look after their spending and fund wars like Iraq on the whim of a dumbass (in this case, Bush). My career doesn't last long, so I'd want to make damn sure I've got enough tucked away for the future.
I see Eakes' valid point that he's not directly contributing to our GDP, but indirectly he is with his merchandise and business that supporters drum up.
I also think that Eakes is try hard to wind you up Dan.
I didn't watch the whole race - too boring! I've read that executives want to revise the new regulations, in particular the no refuelling one, because every race could be very similar.
