And Fowler wasn't a traitor, he was red thorugh and through. Kewell is the player I always wanted at Liverpool and then when he did come, he was shocking. Top of the league

Fowler was amazing, but a further example of a wasted talent. Never really hit the heights on the international scene but sufferred from the fact that Shearer was in the England side and a Shearer/Fowler partenrship wouldn't have worked as well as Shearer/Beardsley. Fowler's lifestyle led to being a wasted talent by his mid to late twenties and cut his career at the top short by 5 years or so. Now owns half of Liverpool through his property dealings I believe.
