Hell yeah! What a great start to the new season! Thought the first episode was great last night, 2nd one didn't have much action. Loved the axe moment and when the rocket flew into the chopper! Just a few questions... Why is Bubba from Forrest Gump head of CTU NY? Why is the assassin the guy from The Green Mile and Lost? Why is Freddie Prince Jnr a CTU agent? Where the hell is Renee? Why is the presenter of WWTBAMillionaire in Slumdog pretending to be an Arab president? Do not post about episodes that have not been shown on Sky1. BCFA cup runners-up 2009/10

Dan, I agree with your summary of the first two episodes. First one very good, second one ok. Axe moment was excellent. Classic Jack. Classic 24 getting in a mole within the first two episodes too. Don't recognise the assassin guy from Lost. Are you sure you're right? Emily is a Lost expert, and I can't believe she wouldn't have pointed it out to me.  Prinze Jnr.  Renee definitely features in the series, and in the next two episodes I believe. You missed a question though. Why is the Indian host of WWTBAMillionaire from Slumdog pretending to be an Arab president? Free the Hillfields 1!!!

Oh and Dan, can you edit your first post, and put a bit about ground rules right at the start, namely that this thread is only to dicuss episodes that have already been shown on Sky One, and not to be spoilt by the illegal downloaders amongst us (Smith, Kirby). Free the Hillfields 1!!!

The assassin is in Lost. He's part of the Dharma initiative back in 1974. Horace is his name I think. He's the boss. BCFA cup runners-up 2009/10

Do not post about episodes that have not been shown on Sky1. Renee is in the official main cast list so I'd expect her to turn up soon. I've only seen the first 2 as I am watching on Sky 1 this season. I can't believe Nathan/Emily didn't recognise Doug Hutchison of Green Mile / X-Files / Lost. Pretty obvious even to me and I am usually pretty slow at noticing this sort of thing. Dana (Katee Sachoff) was also in Battlestar Gallactica. I'm sure John would have recognised her. Emily did say that he was in The Green Mile, but I've never seen it so wouldn't recognise him from that. We didn't spot Horace from Lost though - nice one!! I will reprimand her when I get home. Free the Hillfields 1!!!

Well, after my Sky 1 dilemma (it was just a black screen on V+), I've now seen the first two. Loved it! Axe moment was so good. Could have done with chopping his hand off or something in order to identify him back at CTU.
Kim's lost her appeal.
Isn't the baddy also from police academy as well as Lost and the other gubbins?
Nath, I've got The Green Mile on DVD - I'll lend it to you.
The only thing about 24 so far that isn't good is the head of CTU. I hate annoying characters that just to stupid things or get in the way... it's so frustrating.

I'm also not convinced about the Chloe thing. I did read a review that said they appear to have changed a few of the characters, naming Chloe and Renee in particular. Chloe is the ultimate geek, yet a month into her job at CTU, she still isn't getting to grips with their new "systems"??? Aside from that and Jack's slightly dubious reason for staying behind, it's been a good start though. Free the Hillfields 1!!!

Why on earth are you worrying about Chloe's competence with the new systems. Talk about nit picking. Leave the women alone maybe she has some personal issues she is dealing with.

I don't think Morris died. He was mentioned by Brian (can't remember surname - Hastings?). He said something about Chloe only taking the job cos her husband got demoted or something? Can't remember exactly. Free the Hillfields 1!!!

My Sky 1 is still dodgy - keeps skipping and has blurred bits of some frames. Virgin are getting a call.

Renee is hot IMO. Ben, Benitez isn't going to be sacked or resign so what's the point in being negative about it? We're in a rut and they need our support not criticism. Lets see where we are at the end of the season then criticise. Unless you want us to keep failing so you can say 'told you Benitez should have gone'? BCFA cup runners-up 2009/10

So with Mr Millionnaire's brother being the moley-moley, how do you think he'll be found out? I reckon he'll try to kill Mr 'Naire, but then his rather nice looking daughter will stab the brother in the temple with a stiletto.
