Just to give ya'll an update on this as it's been a while.

Things are still happening although the process at time is slow. We are now seeking funding from various trusts to try and meet our new target of £570K.

So far our church has raised almost £50,000 which is quite amazing and are still going.

Our website is Hillfields Park Centre

One of the things we are doing to try and raise funds is a scheme called bag a brick, it is estimated that 10,000 bricks will be needed to build the centre, so we are looking at raising a possible £20,000 from this scheme. The idea behind the scheme is that we understand that not everyone is able to donate large amounts of money to the centre so anyone can play their part by buying a brick for £2 which will go towards funding the centre. In return those that buy a brick will have their name recorded and once the new centre is built a plaque will be permantly put up in the new centre displaying the names of everyone who brought a brick and help contribute to the new centre.

Anyone can buy a brick and there is no limit to how many bricks you can buy, just today I sold 50 bricks (£100) twice to two indivduals, also companies can buy them and you can buy one for you friends or family. obviously 10,000 is a mega amount to aim for but I think it is possible and it is my aim to try and raise £20,000 this way as quickly as possible.

If you are interested in buying a brick let me know how many and your name and i'll sort out payment with you later maybe at the final or season end presentations.

Please keep praying for us that the packs that go out to the big funders will really speak to their hearts in a positive.

Thanks for your support.

Cheers

Rich
