phil wrote:Still don't know how I got booked for my first foul!! On its own I thought it was a yellow ccard, you appeared to be gunning for someone when you went on. But compared with some of the other challenges he didn't book, then very harsh. And I saw you do a cheeky chest block to their number 9 who was picking for a fight!!!

Eakes, you've sussed me. I was just pumped for the last 10 mins and badly wanted to win the ball back quickly so we could mount an attack. I probably did see the infamous red mist that sometimes clouds my judgement (there have been a few incidents with Slip over the years - unsure why). Frustrated and wound up Clarkey is not good if you're chasing the game and conceding free kicks and picking up bookings in your own half. All the same, what a night of high drama and entertainment for all. As echoed by Newelly, thankyou for all of your support, it was much appreciated and I hope we respresented the churches league in the best possible way, the match summary was spot on as well. CC on saturday to restart the league fixtures. http://pipnjayfc.ukffteams.co.uk/ Pip n jay GFA Minor cup winners 2010-11

Not sure I can remember a few, but I do remember one game when Beano scored, and as he ran off to celebrate, you just gave him a little kick to trip him up. No idea what he'd done to offend you (other than score). Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

Good spot Ian. By the way, I had a word with Spits as to why the Churches League report was not going up on the website. He said he would investigate.

For some obscure reason I was determined to win and really wound up before the match had begun, I think Beano may have megged me before he scored his 2nd goal! He was a tidy player and he always seemed to get the better of me and score against us! My actions were completely uncalled for and I recieved a booking from Mr Day, maybe other refs would have sent me off. Then I really would have seen the red mist. http://pipnjayfc.ukffteams.co.uk/ Pip n jay GFA Minor cup winners 2010-11
