Kensington Baptist beat Racing Santos 6-0. And I thought I had a good game!

KB were good value for their win, we only got a handful of chances in the whole game, and they did spend most of the first half camped in our half. Despite this, only 2-0 at half time, both with (I think) a small stroke of luck.

Second half let in two more quite quickly, and all got a bit deflated. Then came into the game more, and could have got two.

Some confusion over goal 5 as everyone stopped on the linesman's flag apart from the chap who was not offside! (we need to learn to play to the whistle). And annoyingly, goal 6 was bang on full time, not even time to kick off again.

Hartcliffe Saints 2 - Grace Church 2

Goals: Nathan Randell, Liam Bates

Hard fought game, with us having probably shaded the first half and Hartcliffe the better of the second half. We took a 2-0 lead in the first half, but unfortunately couldn't hold on to it. Our first goal was from a flick on from a long throw and nicely headed in, second one was from a through ball, Liam raced on to it down the left wing then curled a great shot in from just outside the penalty area.

Our midfielder & captain on the day Colin ended up with a broken wrist after falling heavily on it, so we trust that heals quickly

The issue was that even though there was inactive guy in an offside position so was the guy who scored but the ref assumed the linesman had flagged for the inactive player. Really we should play to the whistle. lesson learned.

Welton 2-5 Suburbs

A great win for us today. The welton team we were expecting didn't seem to turn up and it was a comfortable win.
Mitch Hayward scored 4 and Mike Duggan got the other.

Well done on your Win, we had one of our strongest sides out Saturday, bar me and one other, think I was missed at Centre back Liar We are not challenging at the top, and never really expected to be. Be happy with a midtable finish this term.

Kensington, CastleGreen and Thornbury will fight it out for the title.

Bucu, Us, Widcome and Suburbs for midtable mediocrity.

Racing Santos, Pistols and Rock for relegation.

All in my opinion. No game this week, and cup the week after. So nice break from the league.

Wasn't at the game but Len said it was the worst we had played in 5 years. Maybe a bit extreme but can't comment as wasn't there!

The only time you run out of chances is when you stop taking them.

I will have to disagree with you there weltonsub on your opinion of rocks finish i think we will be mid table we only played three games and all against who i would say are strong teams yourselves included. So when some teams have only had a few games hard to say relegation, We got racing this week that is going to be the match to see how we do in this league.
