You may think that this campaign died a death a long way back. However I have been continuing the mission alone Boo hoo! .

So since the 3/1/09 (West Brom v Peterborough) The last listed game in the old thread I have been to:

31/1/09 - St Marys Stadium - Southampton Vs Swansea City
14/2/09 - St James Park - Exeter City Vs Aldershot
13/9/09 - Cardiff City Stadium - Cardiff City Vs Newcastle Utd
26/9/09 - Dean Court - Bournemouth Vs Burton Albion
1/10/09 - Craven Cottage - Fulham Vs Basle
17/10/09 - EBB Stadium - Aldershot Vs Bury
2/1/10 - Villa Park - Aston Villa Vs Blackurn Rovers (sadly not the 6-4)

That brought my personal Tally to 28 of the current 92 football league grounds.

I didn't have time for Wetherspoons however there is one less than 10 minutes walk from the ground called The Moon Under Water.

Next stop will be St. Andrews for Birmingham City Vs Wolves on 7th Feb.

That's the Morecambe end. Overall the ground was just over half full.

Didn't realise you'd gone there Ben. Good game to watch, and very reasonable ticket price too.

I was thinking that - not bad, especially considering you paid the same amount to watch Shrewsbury v Morecambe earlier in the year!

This is brilliant Ben, keep up the travelling. It sounds like you picked a cracking match to watch.

All the best with the 92....a real challenge. Over the years my number of 92 clubs has been shrinking due to all these new grounds and teams dropping out of the League (Sealand Road, Leeds Road, Highfield Road, Maine Road, Burnden Park, Ayresome Park, Ninian Park, The Shay, The Manor Ground, Kenilworth Road, Somerton Park, Blundell Park).

With a wife and kids it will just shrink and shrink! Enjoy your travels.

The league cup always seems to deliver goals I've seen:

Liverpool 3-6 Arsenal
Liverpool 4-3 Reading
Reading 2-4 Liverpool
Chelsea 3-4 Newcastle

I only discovered today that my ground total was one short due to Oxfords return to the league. I went to the Kassam back in 2004.

Excellent...I haven't been to the Kassam yet. Looking forward to your reviews of Darlington's and Carlisle's grounds (neither of which I've been to although I have driven passed Darlo's new ground that no one goes to).

It's certainly going to be a busy few weeks on the 'Groundhopping' front with the following games already penciled in:

02/10/2010 - MK Dons vs Colchester Utd (League 1) just £6
05/10/2010 - Barnet vs Southend Utd (JP Trophy) Just £8
23/10/2010 - Coventry City vs Barnsley (Championship) Just £10
26/10/2010 - West Ham vs Stoke City (Carling Cup)

At those prices my challenge may not be as expensive as first thought.
