Nailsea Churches 2-4 Castle Green

Useful run out for the lads today and on probably the best surface they will play on all season at Bristol City's training ground at Failand, although I did spot one or two weeds in the turf!

Goals from Nick Gilleece(2), Mike Clifton and Femi Akinsola.

Nailsea missing one or two, Paul Gunning in particular. Good game of football all round though played by both teams in the right way and the right spirit. Still got a long way to go with pre season preparations, ironing out and bedding a few things down, but over all the lads can all be pleased with their efforts this morning.

All the best to Nailsea for the season and thanks for a great game this morning.

thanks for the game Ian. We were indeed missing alot of players 5 or 6 i think. I too saw one weed out of place on the pitch Not talking it just will not do.

From what we saw i think you will be battling for a top 3 finish this year. Goodluck.
