Riera's gone - not disappointed in the slightest. We've lost nearly 5mil on him in 2 yrs.

Just 5 goals in 55 games another waste of money by Rafa! Good Riddance to him (Riera that is).

And now we've signed Aurelio on a free transfer. A month after we released Aurelio on a free transfer......

Ooh! Chinese group in for a takeover. Gotta happen in the next two weeks though so that Woy has some time to spend money in the transfer window, otherwise it's off. Please, please, please let it happen!!!

And I'd sign Defoe, Jesus Navas, a left back and a defensive midfielder to replace Masch should he go.

Don't reckon it'll be anything like that. I'd guess £20-30m. That's about £20-30m more than he currently has.

Great, another nail in the coffin of English football if anothe rmega billionaire comes into the game. If you guys celebrate this then please don't complain when England yet again under-achieve at the next major tournament.

I kind of agree with you Eakes, although I don't think you can lay the blame for England's failures entirely at the feet of foreign owners (surely there's plenty of other factors, and after all, the clubs could buy English players with their money). The sooner Platini gets his changes through so that clubs have to be debt free, and spend within their earnings, the better.

Foreign owners are just one of the factors agreed. Sky are a bigger factor I would say. But then again I'm hypocritical as I enjoy watching it !!

They could, but they have zero interest in the academies and developing young English players. They want immediate succcess and that means buying players who are already developed.

He should be committed, if he thinks he will win anything with Liverpool Wink

English managers do though, so only a good thing that we have an English manager in charge. He seems interested in buying English players - Cole, Young...

With your hatred for Michael Owen you might be able to get a bit more up close and personal to him if this rumour is to be believed!

Coppell has said it's garbage. I'd leave Bristol if he came to live here.

I couldn't honestly see him stooping so low (no offence City fans). There's no doubt he's an ambitious guy. He'll still want to get back in the England squad, and he knows his best chance is to stay at United and try and get as many games as he can there.

Would be great if Wellbeck or Owen came to city.

For Owen's sake I really hope he can stay at United and stay fit as I think Cappello will try all sorts to fix the World cup farce, would like to see Owen play again for England.
Has seen 4 lads through his team become Christians in the last 18 months or so - How awesome is that?
