Great, another nail in the coffin of English football if anothe rmega billionaire comes into the game. If you guys celebrate this then please don't complain when England yet again under-achieve at the next major tournament.

I kind of agree with you Eakes, although I don't think you can lay the blame for England's failures entirely at the feet of foreign owners (surely there's plenty of other factors, and after all, the clubs could buy English players with their money). The sooner Platini gets his changes through so that clubs have to be debt free, and spend within their earnings, the better. Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

Foreign owners are just one of the factors agreed. Sky are a bigger factor I would say. But then again I'm hypocritical as I enjoy watching it !!

He seems interested in buying English players - Cole, Young... Top of the league

With your hatred for Michael Owen you might be able to get a bit more up close and personal to him if this rumour is to be believed! LINK

I couldn't honestly see him stooping so low (no offence City fans). There's no doubt he's an ambitious guy. He'll still want to get back in the England squad, and he knows his best chance is to stay at United and try and get as many games as he can there. Would be great if Wellbeck or Owen came to city. For Owen's sake I really hope he can stay at United and stay fit as I think Cappello will try all sorts to fix the World cup farce, would like to see Owen play again for England. Has seen 4 lads through his team become Christians in the last 18 months or so - How awesome is that?
