I know that I probably shouldn't be allowed to be, but its true. Daisy Bea Peregrine was born Friday morning. Her and Wifey are fine. She weighed 8lb 1oz. Don't know why that's important but pretty much everybody has asked me how much she weighs before they ask whether she's healthy or not. Go figure. Anyway, she's rather lovely, if a little bit tiring. Sure that sleep will become an increasingly precious commodity but also quite sure that she'll be a whole lot of fun as well.

Congratulations mate! I know the weight of a baby doesn't necessarily mean it's healthy, she could be 8lb and be unhealthy. But if you'd said that your new baby was 2lb, I would be worried that she was unwell. You saying she weighed 8lb, rests my mind slightly before you confirming that she is well  Congratulations to Woodies.

I believe Santos are having a kick around on the downs this evening if you're up for a celebratory kick around. You've done the hard work now you need a break.  VCF Santos for Div 1 & 3 next season.

Nice work Dave. Congratulations. Hope you enjoy being a dad. Speaking from experience from having Ashton as my son, I can say there'll be ups and downs, but you'll have a great life with a family.
