I was thinking that too, but that's a good point Baldy. However, they could always set the film back a few years.

He'll just have to die at the end of that then.

Now that he is killing in the name of Renee, there was a point afterwards when Ortiz said about chloe and Jack that I thought he sounded similar to the way he spoke a bout Dana. However Jack can't kill Chloe and Chloe is so gonna help Jack now Logans man is in control.

From the presidents point of view it appears she is just digging a deeper and deeper hole for herself, just as she gets a chance to pull our Logan talks her into something stupid again can't see it ending well for her either especially politically, think Mrs Hassan will kick her butt.

I was thinking they may do a 24 season prequel film, but is that really marketable is fans of the show have seen Jack die?? They only exciting bit is I assume it will be done in realtime?

Has seen 4 lads through his team become Christians in the last 18 months or so - How awesome is that?

It doesn't, I meant to quote Bald ones post not Nathans.

I think the whole point of them doing a film is that they won't have to do it in realtime, and that it will involve Jack travelling around a bit. I did hear at one point that some of it was going to be filmed in London. If that's the case, might it be easier for them to do it when he's head of CTU, or at least working for them?

I believe the plan is that the first half of the film would not be set in real time. It would be an introduction to the 2nd half which would be set in real time.

The torture last night seemed worse than ever before. I loved it. Dunno what role Ortiz has left to play now. Maybe he'll come around and help Chloe neutralize the dude in charge and his hot assistant Eden.

I have to say that even I found the torture of the sniper pretty grusome and I've seen some pretty sick films (Saw, Battle royale).

The difference is Ben, on Saw you would actually see him cutting open his stomach. Pretty bad torture, what was he spraying on him, surgical spirit? And I know Crofty predicted how the sniper guy would die, but that was pretty damn obvious.
Congratulations to Woodies.

It was pretty grusome by 24 standards.

Sad news indeed. He was a good baddie in that first series (still the best IMO). I'll always remember him as the baddie in Speed, still one of my favourite films.

Wish he'd killed Logan and spiked his head on top of the Empire State Building. Loved the masked attack.

Now that he's injured, I think it's heading towards Jack dying during the final double episode next week.
