Yeah, pleased that we finally know where the smoke came from in the first place. Remind me cos my mind has gone blank...didn't Jacob put his brothers body down the hole into that light which created him as the black smoke? But wasn't his brother one of the bodies in the cave?

Was also pleased that we discovered who put the donkey wheel in place. Although when the Man in Black was ko'd by his mother, it was resting against the wall, and when he woke up, the hole had been covered. So how did it end up where he wanted it?!

Yes but at first I was like Jacobs brother is dead and it's something else, but that doesn't line up with the smoke trying to get off the island now as Locke, like the younger brother wanted. So I think the cave was a bit like the tree of knowledge once you been in the forbidden place you became curse with a fate worse than death like his mother said.

I think that thing was what she was protecting and keep from people and it is now Jacobs brother but as a evil powerful dude. Also man in black couldn't kill jacob much like the rules set out by their mother so has to still be his brother but just his spirit which takes form of whoever is dead.

Still a question mark over what the light actually is as she knocked him out before he could see it properly.

I guess Jacob then became the protector of the island and his brother now the darkness trying to escape the island. I think there was also the story shown of how the man in black was then using man and not liking them and Jacob who watch from a distance starting to have compassion for them which is what became the battle of the two (the new game) is man good or bad?

Also notice that the man in black aka jacobs brother was never given a name nor had a name mentioned the whole episode??

I watched bits of a programme after last nights episode where they asked some of the cast members questions like whether or not they thought they would make it to the end of the series alive or not. It was quite strange to hear Jin & Suns very American accents and Sayids very British accent. Nothing like how they sound in the series.

I had Sky+'ed it but deleted it as watched it in real time. You're gonna have to stay up on Sunday night now. Or...go onto Sky player...try and buy the episode. But you may not be able to as you're not a sky customer yet. Or have you got iTunes?

The reason they are showing it at the same time as America is because of illegal downloaders. Sound familiar?

Not sure what other people think of it, but I really enjoyed it. A good ending and it felt like a farewell to all the cast as well.

One key question though - why was Locke wearing a hairnet before he went into surgery.....

On reflection I think it was a quality ending to a quality series.

I must admit that Lost has been my favourite above all the others (including 24, Heroes, FlashForward, etc), so am sad to see it go.

Not sure what I'm going to do without all these series now they are all ended / cancelled!
