No F1 thread shocking!!! We are now 7 races in Mr Button has won 6 out of 7 of them and none of them were fluky they were all won with style. I really hope the bubble doesn’t burst at Silverstone would love to see him win that. Lewis has finally conceded that he has a pants car and is ready to just try and enjoy it and develop a car for next season with it I think he may well pick up some decent points. Barrichello is turning into a bit of a moaner and making Brawns success a bit sour, I know he lived in Michaels shadow for years helping him to win the title but he is 38 he isn’t as up to it as he once was and he just has to concede that Jenson is flying at the moment and its going right for him as where he is not getting the rub of the green, it’s not a conspiracy its just the way it goes, also Sato used to blow up his Honda engine all the time as where Jensons never did, sometimes when a car fails it has to go down to the way a driver drives it and Jenson is chilling at the moment looking after his car as well as winning with ease. Elsewhere Redbull are still the challengers to Brawn but if Jenson can keep his reliability going he should gain points in all the races, therefore it’s a tall order anyone catching him, however it will only take a couple of no finishes to bring others into it but at the moment its not looking likely Ross Brawn is a master of F1. the Redbulls also have another problem and that is between their drivers at first it looked like Vettell was No.1 driver but now Webber has caught up and the rivalry may well hinder their progress. Overall a good start to the season, just hope Jenson keeps going, 3 more wins and I think it could well be his championship!!!!!! Has seen 4 lads through his team become Christians in the last 18 months or so - How awesome is that?

I agree except for the Rubens comment -he is not too old or past it, its just that his team mate is the best so he is struggling to win. If Jenson was replaced by Sutil or Nakajima, Rubens would be winning more. anyway, I'm glad Jenson's winning loads. It annoys me that Bernie moans about predictability, because it will always exist - whoever has the best car and best driver is surely going to keep winning. Nomatter what they do with the rules, short of allowing back-markers double kers power or shooting an engine, they'll never make racing totally unpredictable. Maybe they should get all the drivers to have a few pints before each race.

How many times has Barrichello finished second this season? I still think they should do my idea. Have the same points available for where you finish in qualifying and the race. Fastest in qualifying starts last on the grid in the race, slowest in qualifying starts last in the race. That would make for some interesting racing. Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

A better idea would be that you start in the opposite order of how the previous race was finished. You haven't understood the wonderfulness of the idea Eakes. Fastest in qualifying gets 10 points, 2nd quickest gets 8 points, 3rd quickest 6 points etc. However, the fastest driver then has to start at the back of the grid for the race, with the same points on offer for the winner of the race part. So the incentive to qualify fastest is that you get 10 points before the race has even started!! Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

I'm sure al the teams would love all the extra expense that would cause. Exactly. No-one really ever overtakes more than half the field, so the best qualifiers would probably never win a race. Nath, bury your head.

Looks like FOTA and the FIA aren't too friendly at all. With Ferrari saying they'll pull out if FIA don't reverse the £40m decision, and Webber saying he's not at all concerned about creating a separate series for F1, we could witness the biggest event in motorsport of our generation.

Crazy stuff!! That link is partly me trying something to make it more obvious that it's a link. Anyway, headlines today are that the major teams are going to break away next season. However, just heard a motorsport journalist on the radio (from one of the broadsheets, can't remember which one now) who didn't think much of it. He said something very similar happened in 2005 with Ferrari, and Bernie Ecclestone and Max Moseley got together with the head of Ferrari and sorted things out. He reckoned there was far too much hassle and organisation required for the teams, some of which already employ about 700-1000 people just to get two race cars on the track , and that ultimately, it won't happen. And if it does, there will be 16 races round Silverstone. The deadline for entries for next season is tonight apparently, so we should know what's going on tomorrow. Blimey!! Still, must be a lot of electronics in there (I wonder if they fold in at the touch of a button like my car? ), and I bet it's probably made of fibreglass, or whatever material they use for their cars. Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

Maximum points so far for me this week - had Rosberg as quickest in practice - 5pts, and had Vettel for pole, another 5pts! Should be a cracker of a race with Button in 6th. Congratulations to Woodies.

Amazing win for Lewis yesterday, was so chuffed. Hilarious what happened to Alonso, and now Renault have been suspended from the next Grand Prix at Spa! Congratulations to Woodies.
