Ben was saying what's the point in playing when there's only 2 people. But there's 4 and a half thousand! Congratulations to Woodies.

Good to see England finally get a proper game in this tournament, and a good win too. Just a shame we have to rely on 3 South Africans, 1 Irishman and 1 Pakistani (Ajmal) to do it. Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

Great all round performance today and awesome to see KP back to his best again. Shame he is off home now, hopefully back in time for the semi finals. Eakins also back on form today scoring 93

So England are actually doing quite well and looks like they'll avoid the red hot Aus until the final. Who thinks we may actually win this? Would be pretty incredible if we did, considering how bad we used to be at the shorter game. Congratulations to Woodies.

I think we have a great chance Dan. England keep surprising me in the positive way they are playing. I think we could get undone by Sri Lanka though as we don't seem to do well against Mendis and Malinga. I hope I'm wrong though.

Sri Lanka aren't definitely through though yet are they? If they lose to India and WI beat Australia, it could well be Aus and WI that go through from that group? Overall, I think Australia must be the most impressive team so far this tournament, with England and Sri Lanka just behind? The Aussies seem to finally be taking T20 seriously. From looking at the IPL though, it seems that the best team during the league stage doesn't often win the whole tournament. With T20, chances of the odds being upset seem higher than in other forms of cricket? I was reading Mr Agnew this morning and he was talking about how well England adapted from the fast pitch at Bridgetown to the slow pitch at St Lucia yesterday. Have to see if the Aussies can do likewise, especially the bowlers (which he didn't think they would as well as England). We seem to have plenty of batting now. Even though the top order failed yesterday (Bopara took his chance well), you always felt someone would get a decent knock in, and that Morgan would probably be that man. Semis should be interesting, and I wouldn't rule out Pakistan from winning again. They haven't played well so far, but I could see them using the win yesterday to gain some momentum. Without Gul though (where is he btw?), I'm not sure they'll be able to repeat last year. Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

I trully hope Pakistan don't win it!!! I have a bet at work and if they win I have to eat a Big Mac Meal I'm not too worried though as it is very unlikely. They won't beat Australia nd England.

Well, they didn't start very well last year, but they won it. Stranger things have happened. However, you're probably safe. They really have scraped it this time, and they've lost a couple of players from last year like Malik. Having said that, most of the team from last year is still around, so you never know. They don't seem to be in as good form though (Boom Boom particularly). Also, why are they holding another T20 world cup when there was one last year?? Are they trying to hold quite a few to get a few names on the trophy quickly? I think this is the 3rd one since the last 50-over World Cup!! Nath, Umar Gul is injured I believe, and others missing due to being banned by the PCA. I think they had this one this year to try and get in sync with the 50 over world cup but not sure. As you SL aren't definitely through but I expect them to beat India who seem lost at the top without Sehwag and Tendulkar. Be interesting to see what Australia do on the slower wickets but assuming they win their group and we win our semi the final is at Barbados which will favour Australia as the pitch has more bounce. I think their semi is on a slower wicket so Pakistan have a chance. The enigma that is Pakistan can beat anyone on their day.

You're probably right, but I thought India's problems were more to do with their bowlers (other than Bhaji) more than their batsmen, who have done ok? Not just a win, a thrashing. Great result, and a deserved result as well. We were the two standout teams in the tournament and I think that over the past few weeks England have demonstrated that they had an extra dimension in their attack compared to Australia. KP back on fire, Morgan and Kieswetter possibly pushing for test places - its not looking too bad at the moment. And before the snidy comments come in about KP, Lumb, Kieswetter and Morgan - they qualified as per the ICC rules. Same as Owen Hargreaves in football, Mike Catt in Rugby and, thinking about it, Steve Smith who was playing for Oz today.
