Kirbs, I think the SSS fund was exhausted on Friday night.

Just wondering what happened to the SSS who started Saturday night on the Gloucester Road? Some of us were hoping you'd make it to town (The Park) like we discussed. Poor effort. I asume none of the SSS fund was spent on Gloucester Road. Talking of which, I've still yet to have a beer from the fund. Poor. Very poor.

Don't think we discussed meeting at The Park. We were in Bristol Flyer from about 8, it got to 10 and I was so knackered I went home at 11. None of the fund was spent. And you've never been out on an SSS night so that's the reason why you've never got a beer. So you're the poor one.

Wasnt an official S.S.S on the saturday as over half the team wernt available, the friday defo was. When 15 people turn up to a meal then the social fund was always gona go...kirbs you have no leg to stand on when it comes to seeing a beer or two back from the social pot, we said from the beginning that the reason we pay the extra each game is to encourage people to make an appearence at socials, you aint been to one yet and you even sacked off the meal on friday to stay in and watch heroes! ...you need to bring your A-game when we go to TOUR-quay my boy! Poor. Very poor.

The SSS nights so far have all been arranged when I already had plans made. Hardly my fault for not showing. Malts should have checked availability before organising it. The only hit I'll take for not coming is Friday, which I could not afford due to £thousands of unforeseen outgoings. When you lot grow up and get some responsibilities, maybe you'll understand. As for not seeing a beer from the SSS fund, I'll protest against the SSS fund next season, so I can save myself some money instead of paying for you lot to enjoy yourselves. So KMA!

Friday's meal = £10 Shhh

Fair enough Kirbs, just dont expect to see anything back from it next season, plus we aint gona change SSS dates because 1 player has other plans, we've had a really good turn out for socials this season so if you dont want to be involved in that then its your choice. It annoys me when we try and organise stuff like this for people to get inolved, so we get the chance to get the lads together away from a saturday morning, your the one missing out on this opportunity by protesting against it. What happens if next season you have a free saturday evening and we set up an event, everyone will be there, guess we just dont invite you then yeh...brilliant.Angry

I'm properly skint at the mo. Every penny counts Crying

Sincs, I appreciate it's hard to organise stuff when everyone is free, and I'm not asking them to be arranged around me! I'm just a bit miffed that none of them were when I was free. SSS just seems to revolve around a core group from my point of view. Chill Winston. I still love you. xx Cool

We need to replace Ashton IMO. Maybe Ieu now that he's won everything possible with Woodies. The only difference between him and Ashton is that he's not black...
Congratulations to Woodies.

I tihnk if we offer an improved contract we can get Ashton to continue next season, at least for the majority of games. It would be wrong for him to leave before winning something. There's plenty of time for other activities once you've retired from football. My other proposals for success are to tempt Turpin back from the bowling green and start pre-season training as soon as we get back from Tour(quay) i.e. June. That way there's longer to work on important things and as it gives people less time to let themselves go there won't have to be as much of an emphasis on getting fitness back before working on the things we need to work on.

Yeah, Turps says he's not playing any footy while he's doing his PGCE.
Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

Loving the smilies RoF.

Sorry to have made you cry. I think I'm definitely done. It's something that I have been thinking about for most of the season and I think the ban confirmed my thinking. I haven't enjoyed playing and I don't know why either. I'll definitely still be along to socials, poker nights (what ever happened to them?) and to watch matches when I can. I'll come on tour as well if you let me @@

Yours

SC9
