I never duck a challenge Dave...well not a stats one anyway.
In seasons where Woodies and you have both been in the same league as Counterslip, the total goals for the 2 league games against them has been:
2005/06 - Woodies 2, Davo 6 2007/08 - Woodies 2, Davo 0 (although I'm sure the match reports will note how unselfishly instrumental you were in setting up the goals that Santos scored) 2008/09 - Woodies 1, Davo 1.....but wait that was the same goal...ie you were the only Woodies player to score against Slip in the league last year.
All in all, pretty conclusive that if Woodies want to beat Slip tomorrow there's only one man for the job up front.

Amended to include our GFA game with Woodies last year, and this season's earlier match. Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

In 07/08 I only played in one game against 'Slip. I reffed the other as had broken ribs. Awarded 'Slip a penalty and ensured we had an early kick off so that I could go and cheer on Woodies in the cup-final! Either way, sadly I think the 05/06 figures need to have a '*' next to them *Chappell was playing in defence for 'Slip.

OK - moving away from stats the other point I would make is that its dangerous to leave you on the sidelines, where your witty banter has the effect of goading the opposition players into playing well above their natural ability. Its much safer for Woodies to have you on the pitch where you're too out of breath to talk.

At this point, I should clarify for Gaffer's sake that I am just mucking around because I'm bored and that I respect his team selection regardless of where I end up.

Some good banter on here this morning, liking the stats Dave. Any good gaffer studies previous form, I am aware of Dave's penchant for scoring goals for fun against Slip in the past.
And I wasn't subbed in the 89th minute versus Christchurch, I was hauled off at half time, very unforgiving gaffer.

Update on Div 1 Golden Boot after the weekend, with all the contenders netting again:
Ali McFarlane (Pips) 17 Mike Ball (BSXI) 17 Andy Baynton (Woodies) 15
With 2 or 3 games to play for all 3 players its still up for grabs.

I think I've stated previously, cup goals are far more important - especially for wingers
