Training was good last night. Shame only Nath, Malts, Fordy and I made it from the 1st team. I'd have thought more of you wanted to play in the cup final.

Enjoyed it, although I wasn't all that far off being sick after those sprints. I say sprints. The first 4 were. After that, I think I did a fairly pacey jog. Ok, a jog.

Woodies won't know what hit them when me and Kirbs turn up for the cup final fully fit. Smile

Sincs, I'd have come on regardless of your crying off.

Ashton, it's only on here as there was an unread message I read first, and didn't think to change threads before I posted. Sorry for the unintentional mugging.

I'd finished nights and after a sleep felt worse. Who else pulled out then cos Nath said there were 7-8 of us!
Congratulations to Woodies.

Spring said he would, then when I texted round time and place he said he couldn't make it. Plus Kirbs has forgotten Josh.

Er Sincs you went down with a bad leg and they scored their second whilst you were on the floor!
Congratulations to Woodies.

....but you were still on the pitch when it was scored, so your statement is slightly inaccurate? Wink

Sir C, I was wondering how you will manage either controlling the over-exuberant man-love, or consoling the broken hearts of the entire Slip FC on Saturday night? Do you have enough advice to give?

Similarly, I was wondering what your advice about the sartorial choice of the suspended player is for this weekend's final. When the camera pans to the stands will it be an official club suit, tracksuit or perhaps a classic footballer casual look with designer t-shirt?

Kirbs, just let it happen! Whatever happens the man love will flow and I'm not going to interfere.

Teebs, definitely a suit occasion this Saturday. Looks like I could be rocking some good sweat patches though by the look of the weather!

Just wondering what happened to the SSS who started Saturday night on the Gloucester Road? Some of us were hoping you'd make it to town (The Park) like we discussed. Poor effort. I asume none of the SSS fund was spent on Gloucester Road. Talking of which, I've still yet to have a beer from the fund. Poor. Very poor.

Don't think we discussed meeting at The Park. We were in Bristol Flyer from about 8, it got to 10 and I was so knackered I went home at 11. None of the fund was spent. And you've never been out on an SSS night so that's the reason why you've never got a beer. So you're the poor one.
Congratulations to Woodies.
