Dan's missed more than a couple. Most of his shots are wide, unless he's 8 yards out for a header or something.

Well, Saturday was pretty depressing. Not surprising though. Fair play to Nath for taking it for the team. Midfield was unfortunately down on the defensive side too. Hope Sincs gets better soon. And I hope my massive blister heals up quickly. Kinda glad there's no game next Saturday. Seriously worried about relegation now.

Cheers for coming out for a drink for my birthday peeps. Had a great night, although I'll definitely not be heading to the waterfront for a drink again, even if it is on the way to our final destination. Chaville.

Did James Cook not play holding midfield? He's not one to get forward. :livid: there is no game on saturday. We are still in trouble but not drastic and it's still in our hands.

HE's not got the engine nor skillz of sincs or ford though.

James is good for physical presence and heading. Shame we lost but I think we all knew it was inevitable considering the team we had out.

Kirbs, I told you the Waterfront would be horrible! How was Thekla?x

Yeah he hasn't got the legs on him but that means he sticks in the middle like he did against BSXI.

Hollow win for Woodies, but they probably are thinking 'we beat slip 5-1, the final will be a walk in the park'.

You guys need to do your research. James beat Fordy when they both did their first ever half marathons in 2008. He does have the engine. I think he and Spring together in the middle didn't really work. When Sincs came on, we improved markedly (although Woodies knew the game was won well before then).
Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

Spring doesn't work with anyone in the middle.

Dan, at least Spring passes.

Ashton, Thekla was well good. My first time there. Definitely would go back.

It's hilarious how you've used Spring as an example of someone who passes more than me, Spring?! You could have said someone believable like Tim.

Yeah, cos we're really that stooopid.

I like hollow wins by the way, they kind of have that "3 points" feeling I crave.

Gaffer, have just realised that with your new job you must actually now understand the 'street' language used by the 'Slip lads. Any plans of using your familiarity with this new urban vernacular to our advantage for the cup final? Could listen in on their plans for set pieces or find out how they get on with their disciplinary appeals, stuff like that?

set piece discussions usually go like this:

Sincs: "Ive got this one dan, hitting them pretty today."
Flynn: "But its an inswinger!"
Sincs: "But your one of our tallest players, and im the smallest, makes no sence"
(cue dan snatching the ball)
(cue sincs walking off, moderately cheesed off)
(cue dan scuffing it)
Sincs: "unbelievable!!"
