Div 1

Bristol Sanctuary XI 4 The Sanctuary 1
Little SToke Derby and I can only see 1 winner. Franco back and nets one and the whole world knows.

Christchurch 1 Thornbury Baptist 2
Tha Baps will fancy this due to Christchurch's run of late and the lack of players. Will be a big boost if they can steal a win. If they lose ChCh will be dragged into the relegation battle which will be a shock given that they have been by far the best side we played this year.

SAS United 3 Pip n Jay 1
SAS' title bid back on track

Widcombe Wanderers 1 VCF Santos 4
A hastily arranged game sees Santos extend their lead at the top of the league.

Div 2

BUCU 1 Hilfields Park Baptist 2
Kensington Baptist 1 Nailsea 3
Rock Crusaders 2 BS4 1 (Game of the day in Div 2 as a win for Rock could see BS4 in big trouble)

Div 3

Carmel 2 Suburbs United 4
Gordano Valley Church Rovers 1 Welton Rangers 4 (A win will seal promotion for Welton)
Racing Santos 2 Bristol Pistols 3

GFA Minor

Woodies v Henbury A (1.30pm)

We'll try again to play Henbury this Saturday and with the weather being good all week surely there won't be a problem. We are up at BAWA again and only have 2 people away which means our remaining squad picks itself !!

A point about this, last week Hillfields match went ahead with St George on our pitch which is awful at the best of times, I am shocked BAWA who seem to be good at keeping the weather at bay cancelled!!!

Bristol Sanctuary XI 4 The Sanctuary 1
If Franco is back then think Sanctuary will struggle, I know there were no upgrades to their team last week so they won purely on battling, if they can show that again they could get something from the game. I predict a BSXI resurgence which will see them finish in the top 3.

Christchurch 1 Thornbury Baptist 2
Huge game for Baps they need 3 points, if they do and Sanctuary lose then could spell trouble for Sanctuary and perhaps CC as well.

SAS United 2 Pip n Jay 2
A draw which favours neither team

Widcombe Wanderers 1 VCF Santos 4
Santos to keep pressure on Woodies

Div 2

BUCU ? Hilfields Park Baptist ? - Not liking the prospect of losing to the bottom team again we were poor against them last time and we need to play better if we want to get the final promotion spot.
Kensington Baptist 1 Nailsea 5 - Think the wounded Nailsea will get the win they need to secure promotion and keep pressure on us to follow suit.
Rock Crusaders 2 BS4 1 (Game of the day in Div 2 as a win for Rock could see BS4 in big trouble)

Div 3

Carmel 2 Suburbs United 4
Gordano Valley Church Rovers 2 Welton Rangers 6 (A win will seal promotion for Welton)
Racing Santos 3 Bristol Pistols 3

GFA Minor

Woodies v Henbury A (1.30pm)
Come on Woodies may come and support if I am not too depressed.

If BSXI are at full strength with JC and Franco, then they should win this comfortably.

Christchurch 2 Thornbury Baptist 2
I don't really know what the story is with Christchurch but seem to be missing players (?). I've been really impressed with Thornbury's attitude and belief this season and think that they might get a win here if Christchurch are struggling but i'll go for a draw.

SAS United ? Pip n Jay ?
It would be great if we can get a win tomorrow after the disappointing result against Santos and i hope we do. I'm not around as i will be trying to celebrate my fiancee's Grandad's 90th, but in truth, won't be able to think about anything other than my boys at Patchway.

Widcombe Wanderers 1 VCF Santos 3
Widcombe's plummit down the table continues.

Div 2

BUCU 1 Hilfields Park Baptist 3
Kensington Baptist 2 Nailsea 2
Rock Crusaders 2 BS4 1

Div 3

Carmel 1 Suburbs United 4
Gordano Valley Church Rovers 1 Welton Rangers 5
Racing Santos 3 Bristol Pistols 3

GFA Minor

Woodies 3 v Henbury A 1 (1.30pm)

We went out to these 5-4 in the first round with a very much weakend team due to absentees. I'm not sure if Henbury will bring in a few of their Reserves to get to the final which sometimes happens, but even so i think Woodies should have more than enough.

On this note, would they be able to as they'd have played in a higher competition playing for the reserves? Or do you mean they'd play them under a different name?

If the reserves played in a higher GFA cup then they could not play for Henbury A I would have thought they couldn't get away with playing under a different team as the reserves would have a match at the same time.

I think Nath is saying they might play people under other people's names. Unfortunately Mr Peach was their teacher (or about half the team) so he'll know. For the semi final you have to hand the ref and the oppo a team sheet before the game. The GFA have been hot on playing unregistered players this season so my guess is they won't do this. Last week their reserves didn't have a game so I feared that might be the case but I assume they'll have a game this weekend.

And once you get to the final, I think your players have to have played 6 league games or something.

Could be a problem for us if we get to the final given that we've only played 7 league game so far this season !!

I've got to hand it to you Crofty you are becoming a bit of a legend with your predictions. I was amazed you called correctly our 1-5 defeat recently against SAS a few weeks ago and once again you got our result spot on. You predicted all the right results again and were'nt a million miles away. Has the Pools Panel been in touch?! Please predict a victory for us V BSXI next Saturday!
