The French Open starts tomorrow, can anyone stop Rafa from securing a 5th straight title? Will Murray make it through the first round after being given a tough draw?
The Womens is much more open, several players are in the hunt. They still don't deserve equal prize money though.BigGrin

Rafa - probably not. Even though Fed beat him the other day, I suspect it was just a blip on Rafa's part.

Murray - I'm pretty confident he'll get through the first round. Wink Should be starting at about 10am today, and ought to win through to round 3.

Womens - no idea who'll win. Serena is always in contention. I don't think Ivanovic will defend her title, but Jankovic and any number of Russians and Serbians will be in with a shout.
Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

A bit of a struggle for Murray today. He looked down and out half an hour ago before his fight bach.
It is still far from over though.

Yep. I've heard that Starace (what a great name for a tennis player) has some Mozart in reserve....

Murray showed his class in the the end after a very dodgy middle part to his match. He has to hope he can reach at least the quarters now.

I think if he plays like the second and start of the third set in his next match he will get torn apart.
I suppose the determination he has to get back in though is why he is world number 3

Extraordinary, Rafa finally loses at Roland Garros. Federer and Murray will be smiling tonight although Andy Murray will blatently bottle it!

Unbelievable watching Rafa lose, biggest tennis shock ever! Soderling was unreal though.

With Djokovic out aswell, it should be a Murray-Federer final. You could say Murray would be favourite as his head to head record against Fed is good but obviously in slam finals Fed is up 1-0! I've got a couple of quid on a Federer and Sharapova double at 156-1!
Congratulations to Woodies.

Gonzalez will be a tough match for Murray. Despite Nadal going out there are a lot of good players left in the draw.
Del Potro, Gonzalez, Federer and Murray all stand a good chance.

I think Murray will lose to Gonzalez I hope he doesn't but with the draw being good to him can see him messing up.

Still a good run regardless, also is he not that far away from taking Feds spot????

Hello James from Carmel BigGrin
Has seen 4 lads through his team become Christians in the last 18 months or so - How awesome is that?

Gonzalez has been playing very well so far and he will be a big worry for Murray. You can't write him off though he has been playing somee unbelievable Tennis himself.

Virtually 2 sets all now.

Federer is never finished. Once a champ always a champ.

Having said that he'll have to pick his game up. He won't get away with that against a top 10 player.

Not a good 3rd set for him. The beauty of tennis is that it can all turn around so quickly though. Don't write him off yet, but he needs to stop the rot quickly!!
