Can't stand these journalists that pander to the public Wink. To be fair, Chris only wirtes about the BCFA, not the GFA, so given that there were few games in the BCFA, he was unable to come up with a new adjective for the ageing Dave Peregrine. Ironic really given that Dave was looking all of his advanced years on Saturday due to a groin strain 20mins into the game....

...and also due in part to a manager who was happy to take him off a couple of weeks ago when he was on a hat-trick but not happy to take him off when he could hardly move Not talking .

You should play for a decent manager...

Tough love Dave, tough love. Please note that in 1 season with Woodies your trophy cabinet has already had to make room and hopefully there will be more to follow this year!!

Brilliant it was 6-5.

Hillfields Park Baptist closed the gap on Division II leaders BS4 to three points with a game in hand thanks to a 4-3 win at BS4.

Originally the idea was Racing VCF, but someone got lost in translation on the way to registration and so we are Racing Santos on FullTime, but no matter - I like the fact that we can use the battle cry for "Santos!" no matter which team we're playing for or watching...! Keep it simples!

Eakes, just cos Davo missed a penalty, I don't think that's reason enough for him to be claiming benefits!!!
Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

Nath, if I took the attitude of some of my staff I'd probably have got so upset about the miss that I'd get signed off work on long term sickness with 'anxiety and depression'. A few months and the benefits should start rolling in!

From the Evening post:

LINK

By the way, I always laugh at the photo that appears near the top of the "Local football" bit under the caption "Local football action from your football league in Bristol". What a great tackle......
