Favourite part of training - my shot form 50 yards (ok maybe 20) which narrowly missed the post.

Worst part of training - getting panicked by Sinclair, then standing on the ball and falling over Whistle

I know we want to encourage the YTS and witness to them, but Nath, there were far too many people there last night - it was a shambles. Maybe we should say that anyone who wasn't training with us last year can't attend this year. We should do official openings in our training sessions and invite individual newbies along ourselves. wysat?

Favourite part of training was a shot that didn't go in or even hit the post but one that narrowly missed the post?

Standards are dropping, sorry I can't be there - I'm learning francais every Monday evening d'oh!
Hey sucker, I pity the fool who thinks he's going to beat me at Fantasy Cricket! Don't go home cryin' to your Momma when I do, you fool!!

It was the most accurate long range shot, and the only one I had. Compared to Dan's multiple crap efforts, it was great.

That was so funny, "panic panic panic...oh dear kirbs, you appear to have stepped on the ball mate"

...our biggest fear is not that we are inadequate, our biggest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

Agreed. Everyone new this season needs to go. Was pointless last night.
Congratulations to Woodies.

Sometimes managers have to be harsh. Maybe I'll need to take up your offer to come to Woodies training so I can get some proper training in.
Congratulations to Woodies.

Eakes, he'd only turn up once every 2 months so wouldn't demoralize your team too much.

Haha that's great then Eakes, pleased for your team. But I only wanted to come to training not play. Didn't even cross my mind that I could get in your team. No chance.
Congratulations to Woodies.

I can't make training some weeks due to referee seminars I have to go to or I'm at work. What was your excuse last year? Oh it's too late Nath, I won't be able to sleep.Crying
Congratulations to Woodies.

Just Nath, Sincs and Me representing tonight then. Unless the Frosties are coming (hope they do). Really need some quality training with some decent time on the ball, without getting smothered in YTS.

Sincs, Spring and Me were the only 1st teamers there last night (Nath has a valid excuse). Where is everyone else? Poor effort. Very poor. Some YTS are playing in this Saturday's friendly. 1st teamers might start having to compete for their places.

Just the same as most seasons though. Don't know why you're so surprised. Confused

Good point on the YTS. They're getting better all the time. It'll be interesting to see how some of them do this weekend, although I'm getting a bit nervous about the amount of rain we've been getting and are still due. Also, a certain J Flynn turns 16 in 30 days time.............

Good job Dave Flynn has moved away, it was tough enough for Dan being the 2nd best player in his family but to be the 3rd best would be tough to take. Which reminds me of the sledge between Mark Waugh and some cricketer. Mark Waugh was giving this guy some abuse how being crap etc and he just turned round to Mark Waugh and said "well at least I'm the best player in my family". Classic.
