Considered putting this in the Woodies forum, but couldn't bring myself to go there. Anyway, had a text from the big man last night, and it's bad news for the ladies out there (Flynn + Turps) as he got engaged to Ellie this weekend. Congratulations Eakes!! Just make sure you avoid a "football Saturday" for your wedding. Don't worry about "cricket Saturdays" so much though.  Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

Well Done Simon. I wondered why you were away on a pre-planned league game weekend (one of my pet hates  ) As I've said before I'd like to think that TBCFC were key to the blossoming of your early relationship by letting you hammer us when Ellie was watching to make her realise how good a manager you are.

Cheers Ben, it was a cup weekend so not as important . Looking like it could be September next year but I reckon I'll have retired by then anyway.....

Ben, assuming we're both still in the same league next season, Slip would be well up for playing a league game v Woodies one Saturday in September. Can I let you know a suitable date sometime next year? Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

Has seen 4 lads through his team become Christians in the last 18 months or so - How awesome is that?
