so not the best start for the new Racing Santos but am sure we can improve on that scoreline this weekend. Am very excited to be playing although at what position I have no idea! Anyone know what oppo are like? Any predictions for the scoreline? It's a long time since I played eleven a side so am a little concerned by the thought of 90 mins!!

PS Fellaini = Stuart for those who know me as that!

Marouane, isn't it a league game you've got this weekend? There's usually a predictions thread on here. Don't know if anyone's done one yet though, so I'll set one up.
Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

Many thanks! Somoeone thinks we are onto a tonking! Can't say I can predict anything at this moment in time as its a few years since I last played in the Churches league - think my last game was in the Shield Final losing 4-3 to Christchurch!

Haven't seen much of Hayhill for a season or two. Watched about 45 mins of them play BS4 last season, and they looked pretty ropey at the back tbh. No idea if that was anything like their normal line up though.

And didn't the big haired Belgian bloke do well! Good job on completing the 90 mins, mate, even though the last 10 or so were a bit of a hobble! BigGrin

If Racing can keep a consistant line-up all season there's every chance of doing ok this year, but I guess that's where it's hardest! It was a great team showing on Saturday - especially the 2nd half, where we began to look out for each other a bit more, and look to get team mates involved in the game - I guess that's one of the biggest learning points over years of playing... learning to spot the fact that you're knackered (after 50 mins of playing) and are happy to pass the ball to someone else and let them do the running for you!! Blink

Well done Racing - good job!
