Match 54Date: 17/12/2011 Game: Gillingham 4-1 Bristol Rovers Location: Priestfield Stadium Attendence: 7,750 Distance: 174 miles Ticket Price: £10.00 (Special Christmas offer usually £21) Programme Price: £3.00 Ratings (out of 10) Ground - 6 - Two of the stands are modern and very smart looking, one is showing sides of age, the other, where I sat looks like it has been borrowed from the 18th hole at Royal St Georges. Match - 7 - Fairly one sided apart from a short period after the break when Rovers pulled it back to 2-1. Plenty of goalmouth action. Food - 4 - Pretty rubbish variety, Drinks were watery. Toilets - 7 - Clean, functional , slightly on the small side. Atmosphere - 5 - Given that Gillingham made easy work of Rovers you'd expect them to be vocal, they weren't. The gasheads resorted to blaming the ref for there own teams patheticness using some rather colourful language.

Just have to say that I think this is the best thread that has appeared on BCFA messageboards past and present. It is actually genuinely interesting! And funny! It does however beg some questions, well one question (which I guess quite a lot of people already know the answer too): Ben, what do you do for a job? There is a second question: Ben, do you have a girlfriend/wife and, if yes, then where did you find her?

I can answer these for you. Ben is civil servant (he works for Lloyds TSB). He doesn't currently have a girlfriend, which given the number of Eurovision, SPOTY and minor league football loving girls out there is pretty remarkable. Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

I certainly enjoyed taking part (got to game 12) and have looked forward to the reviews in this thread. I also find it hilarious that Ben is now a Bristol Rovers member and travels on the fans coach - he used to hate the gas! Congratulations to Woodies.

We might be in the premiership by then!! By the way, don't call Forest Notts Forset in front of their fans, they get very testy about being called 'Notts'

Match 55Date: 11/02/2012 Game: Hull City 3-0 Bristol City Location: KC Stadium Attendence: 17,435 Distance: 228 miles Ticket Price: £24.00 Programme Price: £3.00 (84 pages) Weather: Very Very Very ColdRatings (out of 10) Ground - 8 - As far as new grounds go this is one of the better ones. Situated in a Parkland setting rather than an industrial estate helps. Three sides are of similar size the fourth has an extra tier with an attrative curved roof. Match - 7 - Two early goals knocked the stuffing out of Bristol City and the result was never in doubt after that. Only when three goals down in the second half did they offer any real goal threat. Food - 3 - Awful selection and slightly over priced. Toilets - 7 - Basic and functional. Atmosphere - 6 - The arctic conditions seemed to subdue the crowd for the majority of the match. Hull fans had a few vocal periods. The Away contigent, few in number struggled to create much noise at all.

Match 56Date: 18/02/2012 Game: Peterborough United 3-0 Bristol City Location: London Road Attendence: 7,004 Distance: 173 miles Ticket Price: £18.00 Programme Price: £3.00 (84 pages) Weather: Wet early on then cold Ratings (out of 10) Ground - 4 - With just one modern stand. London Road looks dated by Championship standards. Terracing sits at either end and there are plenty of supporting pillars that can obstruct you view. There are plans to replace the away terrace with a new 2,500 seater stand in the near future. Match - 6 - Another poor City performance. They threated briefly just after the break when 1-0 down however once the 2nd Posh goal went in they crumbled Food - 6 - Decent variety but slightly overpriced. Only one serving hatch for away fans with just 400 away fans quite a queue developed. Toilets - 2 - Seriously poor. One toilet block. The urinal consisted of a ditch a the bottom of the wall. Peeling paintwork on the walls and floor. It looked like someone had wiped their backside on the wall of the only cubical. Atmosphere - 7 - The terracing at either end is of the type that allows a decent amount of noise to be created with fairly few fans so the City fans were able to create a decent atmosphere. The opposite end was the location for the vocal Posh support. Both side stands for fairly subdued.

A little disappointed with 108,500 on my first go. I was nowhere near west enough with Plymouths ground or North enough with Morecambe.

82k. Only 2km away from Ipswich's ground though!! Oh, and missed out on a few points when I confidently placed my flag around the Newcastle area for St James' Park only to see the computer stick a flag in Exeter. It was only the second or third ground, so I thought Premiership grounds might be included. Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

Which bit about it being the "Football League" was it that confused you Nath to think that Premiership clubs were excluded?

Second go got 105,313. Although where they thought Turf Moor was is quite a distance to where it actually is. Congratulations to Woodies.
