He hasn't moved anywhere in terms of house (well, actually he did, but only within the same town). He just decided to play for Cheddar, his old team again. Think he spent most of the summer deciding what he wanted to do, and he's missed playing with us, so he'd like to come back. He's still gonna play for Cheddar though, so not sure how many minutes we'll get out of him, and I'm not sure he's squared it with his wife yet (Cheddar didn't have a game this week). So, we'll see, but hopefully we'll have him for some sort of role most weeks.
Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

So he has missed the moaning and groaning of Messers Flynn and Spring. Hmm, maybe not the same "good guy" I thought he was.... Wink. Maybe he sniffs the chance of silverware this year.....

Just to confirm it was Gordano 3 Pistols 3, an epic game of 2 halves, with Gordano completely battering us for the first half and going in at 3-0 up. An unfortunate clash just before half time meant Gordano had to manage without their best player (by far) for the second half. Whether it was that or the half time team talk (that invoked memories of 2005 CL final for the effort required) we got our first goal (great header) back within 3 minutes, then another and another, a very exciting turn around. Both teams then had a few chances to win it but it remained at 3-3. A thoroughly enjoyable end after the start we endured

Being down near the M5 we started the game with a minutes silence following Fridays horrific crash - we continue to pray for all those involved in that

Finally be good to hear from any Gordano players on the well being of your number 5 who had to go off
Just completed my 21st consecutive BCFA season!

Ian, I can only assume that you're referring to the Nailsea 1 - 1 Santos scoreline that is being reported on Full Time and leaves us 5 points short of you with a game in hand.

Not sure what's gone wrong here. We definitely won 3-1. Having said that, if the 1-1 scoreline is going to stand, I'm claiming the goal!

Well it says you were 3-1 up at half time and then Nailsea pulled it back to 1-1 to nick a point, miraculous stuff!

Can't see Santos getting promoted now. Nailsea didn't even bother fielding a team according to Full Time, yet Santos could still only score 3 and somehow managed to concede??

I can sadly confirm both of these facts.
