A range of matches this weekend with GFA taking center stage (or Europa cup)

Primary Cup (South) Rd 2

Powerhouse - South Bristol Central
St. Nicholas Wanderers - OCR
VCF Santos - Sneyd Park
Castle Green - Old Soldbury

Minor Cup (South) Rd 2
Highridge Utd - SAS Utd
Woodlands - Made for ever
Hillfields Old boys - Hillfields Baptists
Counterslip - Rhubarb Athletic
Bishopsworth Utd - Christchurch

Division 1
BSXI 4-1 Kensignton Baptist - The backlash followed another Counterslip reverse will pay dividends
Widcombe ?-? Pip n Jay - I'm unavailable for this one but so far Widcombe have only played a few matches, tricky to know what to expect.

I'm not going to predict any scores for the GFA matches, I hope all of our teams progress through to round and I think they will although have played against Soouth Bristol Central before and they are a fair outfit, Slip have to pull out the rhubarb amongst other things after their impressive start to the campaign.

Widcombe's form seems pretty erratic, but I expect Pips to win and go 2 points behind us with a game in hand (NB everyone who thinks we're favourites for the title). Can't see anything other than a BSXI win against Kensington. As you say, very difficult to predict the GFA games, but I'd expect the majority of teams to go through, although there will doubtless be one or two casualties along the way. Don't think we're playing a great team, but as usual on GFA weekend, half our squad seems to be away, so it looks like we'll only have a bare 11.
Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

If we don't supply a Lino, I'm sure Steve Martin will report us!
Congratulations to Woodies.

Dan, got a 12th player!

Anyone think this weekend might be the first this season where some games get called off due to the weather?

I hope not! Actually got our home pitch on Sat, very rare for a Sat pm. Be a huge inconvenience and expense if we dont play

I think we've had quite a bit of rain this week. My garden is pretty sodden. If we get a downpour tomorrow, I wouldn't be completely surprised to see one or two games go...

Sorry Ian, I did miss these matches. It's so confusing......

Ok I will go with

Div 2
Pistols - Rock, score draw, maybe 2-2
Welton - BUCU, the students to win by the odd goal

Div 3
Grace - Santos, 2-1 to the home side

Good luck all GFA entrants, hope you all progress.

I predict us to better our result of 5-0 defeat last time.

That is all.
