Well we've played 3 games so far and we are finally at the first round of the shield! A good draw, the so called big guns have been kept apart:
Widcombe W v gordano Hillfields v grace Sas v Hayhill Oasis v nailsea Hillfields res v thornbury Bucu v racing santos Kensington v suburbs Pistols v woodlands
Could be a 1st division dominated competition this year with all 6 teams probably favourites in these ties.

Interesting Div 1 perspective that keeping everyone apart is a "good draw". Just because Brighton have a new ground and are flying (up until last night anyway) its all big-time Eakins nowadays - he's forgotten about the benefits of cup runs for smaller clubs I agree that Div 1 teams should be favourites although I think that Hillfields vs Grace is probably a much fairer match up than it looks...

Well clearly I would prefer SAS to be drawn against widcombe etc but for the whole league it's great to play other teams outside your division. It humbles us mighty div 1 teams to visit the lower leagues

Not a game involving a Div 1 team, but I think OCR v Nailsea could be a potential upset..... Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

True, and we've also beaten them 4 times since then anyway. Signature was done after the 1st league game of the season. Apologies. Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....
