Ian, I'm interested to know on what basis you predicted the BSXI/'Slip result? Congratulations to Woodies.

Because much as I would like to see my old club win, I also believe that on their day, BSXI are still the best side in the league. Simple as really. Of course this is just my opinion and no offence is intended towards anyone. Good luck tomorrow though and prove me wrong! The last 7 games v BSXI has proved you wrong, 5 wins 2 draws. Yes on their day they are the best in the league (and the whole of the south west) but they never seem to have those days when playing us! They already have their main players crying off 'injured' so they're not embarassed again! Congratulations to Woodies.

That doesn't prove me wrong This thread is titled "Predictions 22/10/11" not "A Citation of History of the Last Seven Matches Between BSXI and Counterslip". Tomorrow is yet to be written and I am predicting a BSXI win. It is yet to occur, so at present it is neither correct or incorrect. As I say though, good luck Green Army!"You don't stop playing football because you get old, you get old because you stop playing football"Mangotsfield and Castle Green URC

Not very good at the predictions, but from our point of view, big game tomorrow Pistols v Welton, neither of us have had the best of starts to the season and someone will want to get away from the bottom of the pile quickly, hopefully us. Everyone back from last weeks holidays so fingers crossed a good run out In response to other posts, be good for Slip to do the business again, maybe this could be their year for the title!! Just completed my 21st consecutive BCFA season!

Ha, I still think BSXI are favourites for the title, and I actually fancy Pips to be their closest challengers based on results so far (they've beaten them already this season). The main thing with BSXI is even if we do beat them tomorrow, I still think they'll drop far less points than we will during the rest of the season. They're such a good team that every time we play them I think our run has to come to an end. Maybe it will tomorrow, time will tell. Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....
