Well here it is everyone, only just over a month to go till the first weekend of the new season.

I will be excited for it to get under way and going, I got an idea of a few teams who will do well.

I think one team to keep an eye on will be powerhouse coming up from Div 3 and obviously Castle Green and Nailsea will be the teams to watch and see their progression throughout the season.

One I'm not sure about would be Santo's I'm afraid not sure how they will fair this season.

Now to comment on my own team lol, I think If we can get a consistent team out week in and week out we will have a good chance this season and well we should be able to do a lot better than last season.

I think Nailsea will be a contender and Castle Green have to be thinking they can push for the title. The Gordano boys where a solid team last season but the big question is who has lost key players and what additions could make a difference.

I know that we have lost a very good midfielder but also gained a couple of very decent players. One bad bit of news I had this week was that our experienced centre back could be out for the season with an injury from the end of last season. This means I'm going to have to play more games!

Its going to be tough and my predictions for the top 5 are as follows :

Nailsea
Castle Green
Welton
Bucu
Powerhouse

Let the predictions begin.....

I think your top 3 will be very much in the running. BUCU are a bit of unknown. I believe they've lost their top scorer from last season, but you never know who is going to come in for them. They could literally finish anywhere.
Only BCFA team to beat BSXI 4 times since 12th December 2009.....

I think Santos will be right up there, most teams that get relegated from the 1st Div are there or there abouts. They have got a few new players and showed a lot of improvement in the last 1/3rd of the season. Witrh new striker Dave Peregrine they have a proven goalscorer who is still just about young enough to score in Division 2 ;)

Can not see anything past Castle Green and Nailsea, Top Two.

We have lost players and replaced them, only time will tell but I expect a high mid-table finish for us.
The only time you run out of chances is when you stop taking them.
